Fountain Worker

As a Fountain Worker at Andy's you are obligated to keep the environment clean and safe not only for ourselves, but also for your coworkers and customers. While working at Andy's the daily tasks I performed were:
- Maintaining a well-respected reputation for Andy's
- Keeping up with daily chores and tasks
- Keeping up in a fast paced work environment
Volunteer Experience:
Heartspring Volunteer - Wichita KS
Pedal Fest

Heartspring is a non-profit organization in Wichita, Kansas. Pedal Fest is an annual fundraiser to further the cause of Heartspring. Heartspring provides services developmentally challenged children. Pedal Fest raises money through two bike races, a 50 K and a 100 K.
- Set up rest stops for contestants
- Attend to the needs of contestants while on their break.
Job Shadow Experience:
While participating in the Junior Career Explore class I have had the wonderful opportunity to conduct job shadows on professional with the occupation of my choice. I have been on two job shadows and they have gone exceptionally well.
Job Shadow #1 :
On my first job shadow I was lucky enough to get to watch over a Home Health Occupational Therapist. During this shadow I was given the chance to practice necessary skills that would apply to an actual medical career. I practiced communicating as well as hospitality and patience during this shadow. Overall I enjoyed this Job Shadow and I also enjoyed the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Occupational Therapist.

Job Shadow #2:
On my second job shadow, I was fascinated. I shadowed a Registered Sonographer and a few of her colleagues. I was given the chance to experience all kinds of situations. I sat in on a echo-gram, a sonogram of an enlarged liver, an artery that had arteriosclerosis, and many more exciting sonograms. Although I couldn't help as much with this shadow, I had been extremely curious and continued to ask questions. During this shadow, I found myself very interested in this occupation and will consider this job while deciding what I will be studying in college.
